The systems and procedures used by Alpha Bank prevent unauthorized third parties from accessing its data and information systems.

The Bank's website, in which our customer enters his card details, carries a digital certificate so that everyone can check its authenticity, ie to verify that it really belongs to Alpha Bank's Alpha e-Commerce Service.

The Alpha e-Commerce Service is managed by authorized individuals of the company, to whom individual passwords (username, password) are delivered.

In the event that the issuing bank supports the use of a secret code for making online card payments and the cardholder has received such a code, the Alpha e-Commerce E-Commerce Service will automatically ask your customer to enter their secret code.

The service is fully compatible with the 3D-Secure security protocols of the international card organizations American Express SafeKey®, Verified by Visa, and MasterCard SecureCode and for secure online card payments. With this mechanism, the customer, after entering his card details, will be asked to enter the 3D-Secure code in order to certify the cardholder. The certification is done through the issuer bank and then the customer returns to the page of the transaction, for its completion.
